More hurricane damage...

Richard Weber observes the damage to a friend's Piper airplane at the Charlotte Country Airport in Punta Gorda, Florida August 15, 2004. Weber is a captain in the Civil Air Patrol came to check on planes, only to find planes destroyed in the wake of Hurricane Charley. The storm killed at least 13 people, shredded mobile homes and damaged thousands of buildings across Florida. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (news - web sites) estimated 50,000 people were in shelters and 80 percent of the buildings in Charlotte County were damaged. REUTERS/Charles W. Luzier
