Somewhere in New Zealand....... A sunfish that washed up near the base of Farewell Spit, (What the hell is a spit???), is a monster with a strange sense of timing, a marine expert says.

Found you through BlogExplosion, i was going to click-through your site what with the American Football pictures (what can I say? I'm English, that kinda sports to physical for us limies :P) then I saw the fish pic and thought I ought'a comment.
Killer Fish! Sometimes you gotta wonder where evolutions taking us... lol...
Oh, a 'spit' is a landform generated through depositation, basically it occurs where a river/stream meets the coast... they don't [usually] happen at estuaries 'cus the currents too strong.
Anyway, ace blog!
