Don't get me wrong, I think he was a great President, but THE Greatest American ever????....NO!

The final 5 were Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, and Reagan. I would have rated Reagan as number 5 in that group.
The final 2 were Lincoln and Reagan......... and the uneducated bastards who were somehow able to dial a phone and vote, chose Reagan.

I agreed that should have been called "who's your favorite american?" But I'm sure we all saw this coming from the beggining.

Abraham Lincoln ? WTF ? The man who wrote in his memoirs: "If I could have preserved the Union without freeing the slaves, I would have done it."
Agreed Lincoln wasn't perfect, but of course nobody is. Personally, I would have gone with Washington, who, I know, owned slaves, etc. etc. But, if it comes down to Lincoln and Reagan I think you have to give it to Lincoln if only for the fact that he was able to put up with his psycho wife!
