Wow you better check your setup I have 4 computers on mine and I got 4.98 download & 960 upload 1.45 seems a bit low for cable.

My first cable setup way back when was 1.5MBit. It's all in what you pay for. I get 6.33 down 645 up, but I pay for for the 6Mb service. "Cable" by itself is no indication of speed other than "better be faster than dialup", although it is usually 1.5Mbit or better. Cheapie DSL's go as low as 128, but it's "Better Than Dialup!".
