Ron Gremban shows the 18 electric bicycle batteries he added to his converted Toyota Prius at his home in Corte Madera, Calif., Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005. Gremban, an electrical engineer and committed environmentalist, spent several months and $3,000 tinkering with his car. Like all hybrids, his Prius increases fuel efficiency by

He might get 250 mpg (I doubt it) but for how long, what is the top speed and can it carry a family of 4 up a hill with out stalling out? I've tend to see that most hybrids lack in horsepower and speed.
I may only get 12 mpg in my truck, but it will carry all the equipment that I need for various hobbies and still do 75 mph.
I think this is amazing. With the cost of fuel rising daily, we need to find either highly efficient ways to burn oil, or find another source of energy. It may have a top speed of around 80, and be slow off the start... but when your cutting your gas cost to under $100 a month, you can't complain...
Hybrid electric cars trade one environmental problem for another. Where is the increased nuclear waste generated by nuclear power plants going to go ?
Um, hybrid cars aren't nuclear powered. Nor do you have to charge them at home.
I've managed to save up roughly $77308 in my bank account, but I'm not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?
