this is old news... it's not just the illustration, this happens right in front of you: stare at ANY point in the room long enough and everything around it will vanish... i forget the 'scientific' term or principle, seeing as how we all learned it in grade 6(!)
but a cool illustration nevertheless.
I tried staring at a point on the wall of my cubicle, (which I Hate), and nothing around it disappeared.

lol steve to bad it doesnt work that way huh i build cubicles lol.... i call them crazy makers:)but RAT ...shaf is kinda right it is true a little old and easy plus if you ever one tried those(stare at posters) the purple dont really dissapear
