Newsgroup applications that you can't live without!!!
I've been telling a bunch of friends about this and figured I should share it with the world. That is why IHMC was created in the first place anyway.
dlDone is the shizzle! Awesome FREEWARE application for handling newsgroup downloads!
dlDone will take all of the PAR abnd RAR files that you pull from the net and process them automatically!!! It also integrates with the context menu in Windows for easy access.
All you do is set it loose on a PAR file or a folder with PAR files in it and it scans tha PARs, fixes the RARs if needed, decompresses the RARs to a place that you choose, and then delets the PARs and RARs if all goe well!!! As my buddy Raj would say, A-FRICKEN-MAZING!!!
If you need a newsreader go and buy Newsleecher! It is by far the best reader ever written. You can even search all the newsgroups easily from within it. Make sure to buy the Supersearch license for the feature!!!

Last but not least... If you need a decent news server you should check out Usenetserver.com. They offer unlimited downloads for about $13 a month. I've been using them for the past year and overall I'm very happy.
