Back In Black!
I think AC/DC Back in Black is the Best. Although it's not really "Heavy Metal" but it's not as laughable as every Twisted Sister and Van Halen Album being on the list.
Twisted Sister is a joke and Van Halen was pop rock.
Where the fuck is Michael Schenker. Black Sabbath isn't even in the top ten. WTF. WASP is the biggest puss band ever.
Venom 66th?
Venom, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Scorpions and Metallica should be the only bands in the top ten.
And where is any of the new stuff?
For me it has to be Mettallica Ride the Lightning. That was my first concert in high school and it was infuckingcredible!

After looking at the top 10 I'd have to say my list would be VERY close with the exception of Slayer... Never got into them... AC/DC may not have made the top 10 either.
My top album is "Rust in Peace ", Megadeth. By far the must have album. I showed the world that metal was not just noise.
Speaking of Megadeth, I just saw them and Testament in Dubai on the 16th. Last time I saw them was in '91 when they both opened for Judas Priest.

I forgot my second all time favorite. Danzig's first album. Twist of Cain, Mother... those were some great tunes. And I have to agree with the WASP comment. That's like putting Poison on the list. It's blasphemy.
