Have any of you got this while surfing IHMC???
![]()
I'm trying to figure out where this popup piece of shit came from. IHMC uses a few ad companies that do popunders to help pay the bills but this shit is unacceptable!!! I may have got it from one of the other sites that I frequent but I want to be sure.
If you got this on IHMC let me know so that I can track down and slaughter the ad company that's pushing it!

I go tthis over the weekend when I went to the Extreme link.
I had one of those recently, but I'm not 100% positive that I was at IHMC. I would rather have those than the popunders that make the moaning sound. ;-)
I've gotten that message on here before.
I just got one while surfing thru the "Random" entries.
I'm trying to isolate the compnay pushing the ad so that I can report them and get that crap turned off. If anyone sees the ad please let me know what the url and product are.
I haven't had that one, but this one is way more annoying! I've got the Ying Yang Twins blasting and all of a sudden I hear some stupid ad. Besides, some ISPs (AOL, I'm looking in your direction) freely give this information away. Kill these fuckers and you'll make a lot of people happy.

OK, I got the ad you mentioned when I clicked the virtuagirl ad to see more of Amy Sweet.
It is a standard spyware that is installed from OTHER web sites, then launches when it sees words or images on any other website.
IHMC is not responsible for it and really there is not much you can do about it Rat.
It is up to the end user to keep there system clean there are MANY free ways of doing this. Microsoft Defender is a really good one (hell they know there own holes better than anyone else).
get it all the time, as soon as i open up a browser in the mornings after having the PC of. and then during the day on and off, hummn,so this is the site that infected my pc huh?
It sounds like it's coming from somewhere else primarily.
I did send an email to my advertisers to make sure they are not pushing it.
I just received it, but I see you already have the address.
