Now wait one fucking minute. Obviously this is electric driven and I could see the motor but where was the battery, in his pocket? I know the clips where short but I still think you need something the size of a morocycle battery.

I would guess it uses Li-Ion or Li-Poly batteries -- certainly more than one -- and they are smaller than lead-acid batteries, hold a larger charge, are lighter, have better discharge / recharge rates, and kick ass in general. Sure, they might have been responsible for a UPS plane catching on fire but hell, ya' gotta' take the good with the bad.
