Man covered with tree-like warts

Would duct tape have helped the Indonesian fisherman who feared that he would be killed by treelike growths covering his body?

We'll never know because an American doctor recommended something else for the warts: Vitamin A.

Apparently, warty "roots" began growing out of the arms and feet of the 35-year-old man named Dede after he cut his knee in a teenage accident, according to The Telegraph.

"After testing samples of the lesions and Dede's blood, Dr Anthony Gaspari of the University of Maryland concluded that his affliction is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), a fairly common infection that usually causes small warts to develop on sufferers," wrote reporter Matthew Moore.
