NEVER SEEN HAIR SO BLUE...
a couple days back, I posted from this very table, here at the Panera
Bread. yup. hey, I forgot one thing, though... I'm in Florida...
... which means I'm surrounded by "old". oh, my. here I was,
posting away, when Ma and Pa Kettle spy me
workin' on old

"Excuse me... ", says Ma.
*sigh*
"Which icon is for the wireless?"
*fuck*
"It's in your taskbar", I answered.
"Oh, ok. Why won't it turn on?"
"Is your antenna on?"
"I don't know."
"Where's your On/Off switch for the antenna?"
"Don't know."
"Okay, then, when you find it, turn it on".
Pa chirps in, "You'll have to excuse us, this is all new to us".
*sigh, fuck, sigh again*
Ma: "How do you configure this wireless?"
*&^%#*
"You got to be joking.. ?", I said.
Ma and Pa gave me the deer-in-the-headlight look at this point.

indeed, surrounded by "old". 80 yr-
old newbies at a Wi-Fi hotspot. we're all going to Hell, I say...
... but, for what it's worth, I like Panera a lot. the Wi-Fi is free,
and there's decent food and real coffee. are you on the road?
is your internet down? this is a good spot. 'cept the Blue-Hairs.
