AUSTELL, Ga. - The father of a South Carolina teenager decapitated by a roller coaster at a Georgia amusement park said Sunday that family members may never know why he hopped two fences to enter a restricted area.
Police said Asia LeeShawn Ferguson IV, 17, of Columbia, S.C., died when he was hit by the Batman roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday. The ride was to remain closed through Monday out of respect for his family.
you guys are total dicks! i mean i know the kid jumped a couple of fences but calling him an idiot after being decapitated is just sickening. you should be ashamed!
What am I supposed to call him??? Smart because he jumped 2 fences to get into a restricted area to get his hat? Or smart because he didn't check to make sure the ride had passed before he went to get his hat? Or smart because he lost his life trying to save a $15 hat?
Lastly, just because I call him an idiot doesn't mean that I don't have compassion for him or his family.
