Are you saying that the building is 12 miles high? That's when you can see the curvature of the earth!

You can see the curvature of the Earth at 4,218 feet above sea level. That's 0.798863 miles.

Burj Dubai reached its final height of 818 m (2,684 ft) on January 17, 2009. Dubai is situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates and is roughly at sea level (16 m/52 ft above). Still VERY high!

So, you probably can't see the actual curvature of the Earth but I would bet it looks like you can see the end of the world from up there. I honestly don't know if I could make the trip to the top and I'm not afraid of heights!

how many stories is it ? I'm pretty sure our tallest building (In Quebec City) must be smaller then the smallest tower stuck to the base of THE Tower...Dubaï is great in that it shows what man can do when money's no object and governement butts out.

You can't be drunk in public and don't let them catch you having sex on the beach. It happened to a UK Woman and she was suppose to get the WHIP...don't know how it ended though.
