Look at these two! They won $250 Million! They're liable to die on their way to pick up the money. The people who win are always white trash alcoholics or 90 year olds. I guess that tells you who the majority of people playing the lottery are. I'm guessing these two are going to take the lump sum now as opposed to spreading it out over 30 years.
You know the lottery is just a tax on people who don't understand math.

Why can't they show this live?? I don't understand that. The first game starts Friday and the final table will be August 10th. The final table game won't be on ESPN until September26th. By then you are bound to have seen or heard who won. It's BS!!!
Here is the schedule for the 2006 World Series of Poker. All events occur at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I know my friend Phil could win this.

Today you can place a $1 National Pick 4 wager and win a ton of money because I'm going to give you the winners. I'm not going to go to my local track or OTB and place the bet, so that means it will probably win.
You have to pick the winners of 4 major races being run today, 2 in suburban Chicago at Arlington Park and 2 in upstate New York at Saratoga Racetrack.
Here are my selections:
7th @ Saratoga - Botanical / Pomeroy / Kelly's Landing
8th @ Arlington - Sundrop / Megahertz / Wend / Melhor Aimda / Angara
8th @ Saratoga - Relaxed Gesture
9th @ Arlington (Arlington Million) - Kitten's Joy / Good Reward / Better Talk Now / Sweet Return / Powerscourt / Cool Conductor
Ok, that will cost you $1 x 3 x 5 x 1 x 6 = $90
Watch the races live on ABC 4:00-6:00 PM EST.
Good Luck annnnnnnnnnnnd Good Racing!!

The 2005 World Series Of Poker is over after an all night session at the final table. In case you plan to watch it on ESPN and you don't want to know who won, I'll put it under the link below.

Two technology entrepreneurs from India set to realise fortunes from floating the world's biggest online poker site are friends who met at university and took a risk on a new gambling venture eight years ago.
Anurag Dikshit, 34, owns 40 percent of PartyGaming, worth over $3 billion if the company realises its expected valuation of $8-10 billion.
Vikrant Bhargava, 32, owns 15 percent, which should be worth at least $1 billion when the stockmarket flotation takes place by the end of this month in London.
PartyGaming operates the PartyPoker site and has been at the forefront of a surge in the popularity of online poker.

A Phoenix firefighter gave up after two hours of searching for his misplaced winning Kentucky Derby Superfecta ticket which was worth $864,253.50.
Lucky for him, a mutuel clerk found his ticket the next day and returned it to him.
The Superfecta wager is the first 4 horses in order.
The gigantic payoffs came after 50-1 long shot Giacomo sprang the second biggest upset in Derby history, edging 72-1 longer shot Closing Argument. Afleet Alex, one of the favorites with odds of 4.5-1, finished third. Another long shot, 30-1 Don't Get Mad, was fourth.
I once left a $100 bill laying next to a betting machine at Arlington Park. When I realized it about a half hour later, I went up to one of the mutuel clerks and asked, "Has anyone turned in a $100 bill?"
You should have seen the look on her face.

On the site of the old Desert Inn at midnight last night Steve Wynn's latest megaresort opened for business. His $2.7 billion Wynn Las Vegas debuted early Thursday morning to hundreds of eager people clamoring to get the first glimpse of this city's newest attraction and the most expensive megaresort ever built here.
Other than the last-minute tinkering for which he has become famous, the casino developer already was making plans for his next project: the $1.4 billion, 2,000-room Encore, which will break ground this summer next to Wynn Las Vegas.

The terminology "pre-Sept. 11 figures" finally can be eliminated from discussions on the health of Nevada's gaming industry.
State casinos won $10.6 billion during calendar year 2004, a 9.7 percent increase over 2003's total win of $9.6 billion and the highest total win in Nevada history, the Gaming Control Board reported Friday.

Casino mogul Steve Wynn has pulled out all the stops for his new $2.7 billion mega-resort in Las Vegas: an 18-hole championship golf course, a private lake and mountain, and a bronze tower housing 2,700 plush guest rooms.
But when its doors open in April, the Wynn Las Vegas will have one unique feature that few visitors are likely to notice--high-tech betting chips designed to deter counterfeiting, card-counting and other bad behavior.
The fancy new chips look just like regular ones, only they contain radio devices that signal secret serial numbers. Special equipment linked to the casino's computer systems and placed throughout the property will identify legitimate chips and detect fakes.

James Jones, whose wife won $130 million from the Mega Millions lottery, owns Jones Brake & Muffler in Georgia.
James F. Jones went to bed Tuesday night worried about normal things.
He woke up at 6 a.m. Wednesday and listened to the morning news on television.
He stepped out of his trailer and called to his wife and daughter, who were getting his grandchild into the car.
"Hey, someone in Georgia just won the Mega Millions," Jones said.
In a dreamlike moment, so surreal that hours later he still couldn't fully process it, the family looked at the ticket. That someone, it turned out, was his wife. And this hard-working, tight-knit family used to fretting over utility bills, found itself neck deep in big money: $130 million. Michael Vick kind of money.
"If you ain't never had nothing, how can you expect to behave when you have something?" Jones said Wednesday afternoon as he stood behind the counter of his shop, surrounded by tires, valves and the pervasive smell of grease.
"We're just glad the good Lord gave it to us and we plan to put it to good use," Margaret Jones said Wednesday night from her home, as her family gathered to celebrate with Coca-Cola and potato chips.

Check out this roulette game. They also have blackjack and poker.

Next time I'm in Vegas I'm staying here.
