Metallica has a new album coming out on September 12th, and they graced us with one new song Live at the Ozzfest. If anyone still cares...
For me the Real Metallica was the first 3 albums...Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning & Master of Puppets (and even on M.O.P. you could smell the begining of the end) after that it wasn't real Metallica anymore... and Justice, the Black Album, load, reload, St. Anger, all (ok ALMOST all) Re-Heated lame unimaginative Crap. Let's hope their 9th album " Death Magnetic" (?) finally delivers.

According to eGigs.co.uk, the SEX PISTOLS are set to record their first new tunes in 30 years after the success of their recent reunion tour.
The legendary punks returned to the live scene for a series of gigs in November last year. They were so excited about how well received they were by fans that it has convinced the band to start to create the new songs.
Johnny Rotten (a.k.a. John Lydon), Glen Matlock, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook hope to start recording their new material in the first half of this year.
This will mean the new songs could be showcased during their appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival in June.
Drummer Paul Cook said, "There's talk of new material. The only problem is that it's a bit hard to work on anything as John and Steve are in America and Glen and I are in the UK. So, it's a case of finding the time to get together."
Although a whole album looks unlikely, Paul suggested, that the band is indeed hoping to have the new material would be ready for their festival appearance, "We might not pull together an album but hopefully there will be some new stuff in time for the summer," he said.

I watched at least 7 different versions of this, trying to find the best video and song combo. By the end I was singing along with the song (while at work). It may not be as good as the hooters song, because there are no chicks, but it is good.
Now if I could only get it out of my head!!!

A member of the Green Party, Biafra ran for mayor of San Francisco in 1979 and also briefly ran for president in 2000 before supporting Ralph Nader, according to California's Daily Sundial. He came in fourth in the mayoral campaign, according to his record label Alternative Tentacles' web site.
Biafra encourages the listeners at his "spoken-word" events to maintain an active role in the anti-corporate movement. He mentions sabotage at the workplace, finding fulfilling work that can pay bills and not purchasing anything that comes from a chain store or restaurant.
