I watched at least 7 different versions of this, trying to find the best video and song combo. By the end I was singing along with the song (while at work). It may not be as good as the hooters song, because there are no chicks, but it is good.

DEAD KENNEDYS legend Jello Biafra will be the featured guest on the "Maximum Threshold" show this Monday, April 30 at 8:00 p.m. EST. Also scheduled to appear is James from the Cleveland metal band SCALERA.

A member of the Green Party, Biafra ran for mayor of San Francisco in 1979 and also briefly ran for president in 2000 before supporting Ralph Nader, according to California's Daily Sundial. He came in fourth in the mayoral campaign, according to his record label Alternative Tentacles' web site.
Biafra encourages the listeners at his "spoken-word" events to maintain an active role in the anti-corporate movement. He mentions sabotage at the workplace, finding fulfilling work that can pay bills and not purchasing anything that comes from a chain store or restaurant.

NEW YORK - Legs McNeil remembers the night back in 1975 when he walked into the dingy storefront club perched in the even dingier Bowery neighborhood. The band onstage, four guys in leather jackets and torn jeans, was the Ramones. McNeil sat at a nearby table, watching their set with Lou Reed.

It was unforgettable. But as McNeil would soon discover, it was just a typical night at CBGB's, the club that spawned punk rock while launching the careers of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Blondie, the Talking Heads and the Ramones.

"Every night was memorable, except I don't remember 'em," said a laughing McNeil, co-author of the punk rock history "Please Kill Me."

After Sunday, memories are all that will remain when the cramped club with its capacity of barely 300 people goes out of business after 33 years. Although its boom years are long gone, CBGB's remained a Manhattan music scene fixture: part museum, part barroom, home to more than a few rock and roll ghosts.

A techno fan smiles during the world's biggest open-air street party with the fitting motto 'Loveparade 2006 - The Love is Back', July 15, 2006. Scantily clad techno music lovers dance through the streets of Berlin on Saturday as the world's biggest street party, the Love Parade, returned to the German capital after a two year absence and just one week after the World Cup concluded.

Axl Rose was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly biting a security guard in the leg in a hotel scuffle, police said.
The Guns N' Roses frontman was held on suspicion of attacking and threatening the guard and causing damage to the Berns Hotel, said police spokeswoman Towe Hagg.

"He was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away," Hagg told The Associated Press. She said a prosecutor will decide whether to press charges.

It was unclear what caused the fight, but Swedish tabloids said the guard tried to intervene when the 44-year-old rocker started arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby.

Police officer Fredrik Nylen was quoted by the daily Aftonbladet Web site as saying Rose acted aggressively toward police and had to be "handcuffed and restrained."

"He kept a high profile, so to speak," Nylen was quoted as saying.

Guns N' Roses played a concert in Stockholm's Globe Arena on Monday night, and had been partying at a well-known nightclub before the scuffle, Aftonbladet said.

In May, Rose and fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger capped an evening out at a new club called The Plumm in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood with midnight fisticuffs.

The scuffle reportedly started after Rose moved the drink of Hilfiger's girlfriend. According to Rose, Hilfiger, 55, smacked him in the arm and told him to put the drink back.

Rose was at the club to play a surprise set for "Rent" actress Rosario Dawson for her 27th birthday party.

He did perform, and dedicated the song "You're Crazy" to "my good friend Tommy Hilfiger."

Since i've been listening to this album continuously and totally tripping over it for over a week now. VELVET REVOLVER/ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS frontman Scott Weiland has slammed GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose for his comments in a recent press release where he claimed that in October of 2005, VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash visited Axl's house at 5:30 one morning and said he wanted to "end the war" with Rose. Rose alleged that Slash tore into his current bandmates in VELVET REVOLVER, calling singer Weiland a "fraud," saying that he "hates" drummer Matt Sorum and describing bassist Duff McKagan as "spineless."

Responding to Axl's comments, Weiland wrote in an open letter, "Get in the ring. Go to the gym, motherfucker...
